Psyche from Emeline by Mightey
This track was inspired by my earliest attempts at music, a Song which at one part had a melody that I always found especially moving. So I sampled it and built a piece around it that was supposed to sound kind of dark, like a song from Aphex Twin or The Caretaker. Over time, listening to the melody the crushed Bass, and incorporating the reversed samples from "Bem Que Se Quis" I felt like the song was describing a difficult state of mind, that feels pretty hopeless and empty.
