Tools and inventory.

As we near the end of a difficult 2 years of humanity, each day, each week, each gig, each place is a new battle. Sometimes it's complex dance floors, evolved minds and different challenges our generation faces.

All we can do as artists is to make sure we have our tools and inventory ready for every battle and situation. So this is an offering, to each artist, a few tools I've created for you and for me.

Ant Hill & Planetary Movements. As they're titled - are tracks that are both my take on bringing structure and mechanics to chaos and multiple movements.

ANT HILL
It starts off in a simplistic structure devoid of any overcrowded elements but soon emerges as a formidable structure taking over the aural senses. It comes across as a track that commands a higher degree of sound design blending facets that don’t scream for attention, but subtly unifies into the whole track. The sublime backing textures combined with the underlying driving arp not only holds the overall atmosphere together, but also gives it a wider dimension.


PLANETARY MOVEMENTS
A track that aptly pairs up as the 2nd track adopts a slightly varied take on the EP. An uptempo track favourite for those heads down-eyes closed dance floor vibe brings forth transcending elements mimicking a flight through the wormhole. The heavy low end holds up the energy whilst the delicately added synth and the elusive high hat paints streaks of light across the sonic spectrum.
