Transitions by Mick Chillage

Transitions was originally released in 2012 as a bandcamp only
release, showcasing my various Techno & House music moods
over the years.

Sometime after its release on bandcamp a record label showed some interest in a couple of the Techno tracks. The label at the time was looking to put the tracks out as a 12" vinyl release. They requested that I removed the tracks, so i decided to withdraw the whole release rather than the few tracks.

After some delays and some issues, the label was forced to close & the tracks never got released on vinyl as planned.

So in recent times I've had some requests to make the
"Transitions" album available again. The tracks within the album are varying in genre and some date back to the early naughties so listening back now I hear things that I would definitely do differently but I still like the character & charm of these works.

The track "Alive With Wires" with its rather strong Electro flavours ended up as part of the "Waveshape Fiction" album a few years ago under my Electro alias "The Shape"

The album has now being presented in its original form but remastered by myself in March 2020.

I hope you enjoy my early take on Techno, House, Electro etc.
