Ghost Music by Michael Brückner
In 2007, I wrote about "Ghost Music" (1996):
"Atonal avantgarde bells meet abstract ambient and new age soundscapes, occasionally spiced with "ethno" percussion..."
While this description is quite apt, I'd like to add that the album in fact sounds far more pleasant that one might expect from these words - especially the three parts of the title track are definitely among my best early ambient work and I'm still fond of them.
"Borduna" maybe comes across a bit more superficial than "deep", but the "ethno percussion" stuff also works well.
