Michael has always been inspired by the glamour, wealth and drama of not just 80's soap operas but the decade in general. His artistic approach is an embodiment of that aesthetic. Young & Restless (named for the soap opera) is a form of introduction. Sonically, it has light moments, dark moments and romantic moments and is meant to show the versatility of his music. These songs could easily play in an episode of Miami Vice, Dynasty or even 21 Jump Street.

After releasing music in various other projects of various genres he decided to go solo and create music that evokes the sounds and aesthetics of the 1980’s but with his own, special twist on it. Michael Angelaux has something to offer listeners of many different tastes.
