Blood, falls like leaves
From autumn trees
Onwards, and upwards

To a crimson sky, but tell me the reason why
His body is floating up from the crumbling earth

Need to get away from here

I trace my footsteps back into the forest
But the bloody trail has disappeared
Though the wound remains in my thoughts
Yet no red path leads me back the way I came
To serve a dark reminder of his fate

Guilt turns to rage
