Me and Hippie C got together and crafted a uniquely blended, rooted-yet forward thinking body of work. “Youth’s Fountain”
Hippie C wanted to make a project where he was expressing himself from the point of view of a father. He wanted to give messages, advice, warnings to the next generation in these songs by reflecting on his own experiences. We worked on the songs over the course of maybe 3 sessions, one where his kids came by to record some stuff for the album. I’m really happy that I was able to be a part of something that’ll at least be cherished by the family, I even got my teenage nephew Leon Frank. to produce a couple tracks on this one.
