Sunvale Beach was paradise — golden sands, blazing sunsets, and the hottest summer of '87. But when a blood-red bloom appears offshore during peak season, the locals chalk it up to algae. Then the swimmers start disappearing. One by one.

Something ancient has returned with the tide… and it’s hungry.

Now a burned-out lifeguard, a teenage marine biology nerd, and a jet-ski stunt team must team up to uncover the truth: this isn’t red tide caused by nature — it’s bait. And the thing doing the hunting has more teeth than anyone could imagine.
