The production here is deliberately claustrophobic and intense, with layered percussion built from actual anatomy model knocks and monitor alarms we sampled during an overnight shift in the ICU.

The alternating voices represent the passing of knowledge between generations of physicians, creating this incredible tension between traditional medical wisdom and the raw innovation that comes from being pushed to your limits.
