McGovern is a non-conventional folk musician heralding from the south coast of England. Dragged up in his dad’s Irish trad band and surrounded by his Glaswegian mother’s love of soul, McGovern took all the scraps of music he could and formed whatever he is now. Usually found screaming next to Sam Jenkins, his trumpeting partner in sonic crime.
