which are our minds.

In here we untangle each other
from those thick meshy nets we were caught in
from the starts of our lives.
Casting self doubt aside,
regrets out with the tides
and we're free.
Your fish in my sea.
Those old nets sink deep,
they sink deep while we rise.

And it's tricky, those hooks always cast,
luring us to abandon ourselves
and choose everyone else and fall below.
But I can't,
not with your hand in my hand,
not with your voice in my head.
