Witt's End by Hell On The Nine Mile
Beginning around 2002, Aaron Olwell, Matthew Olwell, Meg Madden, and Josephine Stewart began performing together under a series of ever-changing band names and with various special guest musicians. The fruits of this collaboration include this recording, which blends Irish traditional music with tunes from Cape Breton, Quebec, Brittany, the British Isles, and the Appalachian mountains.

Matthew Olwell is a dance nerd, musician, and pickle-lover. A member of the acclaimed musical group, Maivish,
he performed in Riverdance as a guest artist with Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble, and has accompanied musical acts including Lunasa, John Skelton, and James Leva. Matthew holds a BA in multimedia performance from Davis & Elkins College and an MFA in Dance from Temple University.
