Rika from Opus Two by Masaki Okamoto

Inspired by the enigmatic allure of a Japanese AV actress, "Rika" delves into the world of House music, uniquely blended with the traditional Japanese Kokin-joshi scale. This composition is a celebration of the fusion between contemporary electronic beats and the timeless beauty of Japanese musical scales, creating a sound that's both exotic and familiar.

Expressions Uniting Diverse Ideas. Masaki attended Berklee College of Music, and was one of the five finalists for an audition by Sony Music. He composed music for a TV news program on NHK in 2003.

In 2011, he moved to Lahore, Pakistan to teach music in school, where he spent a total of 6 years designing a curriculum for students. He has also taught and performed in Berlin.
