Lunatic from Opus Three by Masaki Okamoto
"Lunatic" explores the intricate dance of piano four-hands, a composition for two pianists that historically includes works by composers like Mozart and Schubert. This piece imagines each pianist at their own grand piano, intertwining melodies in a complex ballet of fingers over keys, celebrating the genre's rich tradition and collaborative beauty.

Expressions Uniting Diverse Ideas. Masaki attended Berklee College of Music, and was one of the five finalists for an audition by Sony Music. He composed music for a TV news program on NHK in 2003.
In 2011, he moved to Lahore, Pakistan to teach music in school, where he spent a total of 6 years designing a curriculum for students. He has also taught and performed in Berlin.
