Lyrics
Onion skin whispers, a secret unfolds
Ink bleeds defiance as the night grows old
Each word a spark in the oppressive gray
Banned verses copied before break of day
Hidden lines breathe (truth), a silent might
Burning bright (so bright) in the fading light
Samizdat whispers (echoes) through the night
Freedom's sonnet, written out of sight
Stolen moments, the city sleeps unheard
A fragile poem, every single word
Against the silence, a rebel's soft plea
Knowledge shared, the people will be free
The state may censor, the iron grip tight
But truth finds passage in the darkest night
A whispered verse, a revolution's start
Engraved forever on the human heart
Hidden lines breathe (truth), a silent might
Burning bright (so bright) in the fading light
Samizdat whispers (echoes) through the night
Freedom's sonnet, written out of sight
The poem travels, hand to waiting hand
A seed of dissent sown across the land
