Lou Lou from Reality LP by Martial Heights

Oddly enough the most widely played of all the songs on the album. Go figure. This was recorded at the studio in "The Lane". My AC had just happened to go out that day, but I was feelin' the beat so much that I said F it and recorded lyrics anyway. We came back to it a few weeks later and felt like even with the slight hum of the fan in the background- that we'd keep the original vocals because the take just had that certain "feel" that can be difficult to reproduce. The content of the song is simple: at the time Eminem was at the peak of his initial "blowin' up" stage and even though I've always said he's an extremely talented lyricist, there's something to be said for the added hype that shock value brings to something; in particular art. So I penned a buncha rhymes just talkin' off the wall stuff. I feel like this being the most played song of the collection kinda proves that point. PB
