Eclipse from 1440 by Mark Rolfe
This is the most electronic one on the album and done between about 2-3pm. I was thinking about the sun and watched a quick documentary about it on youtube and found a link to a lecture about what will happened if the sun explodes, inevitably, I built a track around it.
Mark Rolfe is a multi-instrumentalist composer and producer from Nottingham
Playing in the bands Lorna and The Slow Return he is inspired by everything from The Aphex Twin to Elgar and Sonic Youth to Arvo Part. His music has been compared to Sufjan Stevens, Teenage Fanclub and The Beatles.
He loves animals and being by the sea and releases music on his own label 'Winnetka Records'.
