There’s a big black raven
sitting on my fence
Think he’s thinking my life
doesn’t make a lot of sense
I buy a lotta’ junk
I put it away
I stand back and think
I’ve had a pretty good day

Sometimes I think
You’re making fun of me
You feel pretty safe there
Up in that tree
Lookin’ down on me
Lookin’ down on me

Now some people put you
At the top of the pole
But you can’t fool me
You’re outa’ control.
So you steal something shiny
Stick it in a tree
Hey you’re no better
You’re no better than me
