Declaring themselves at the center
Sweeping away gods of old

Their pride was their downfall
Their blindness the weak point
Enraging the oceans
And a god who knows no mercy

Down in the deepest trench in the sea
A slumbering beast has started to awaken
Hearing the call of his maritime master
The foul monster follows the call of the sea

The waves are bringing down the city’s wall
Winds raging strong, deafening their arrogance
A king thrown in torment as he sees his palace drown
His reign has ended in the belly of the monster

The trident has stricken true
At those who lived so shamelessly
Using the seas without an afterthought
Blind to the powers it always contained

Now they’re joining shipwrecks
Witnessing the end of their world

Behold the cursed children
Paying for the warnings that were thrown into the wind
See their future was destroyed
By the avarice of those who flew way too high
