Sad Satellite

When you knew me then
Days were filled with snow
Out the windows in the winter with
Ice covering the roads
Click your heels three times
You would always say
As light hits the bones of your face
I’m swimming in your veins
I’m not gonna lie
It was sucking me dry
You could see it in my eyes
Took me for a ride
When I mistook you for the sky
Some kind of second sight
Travelled through time
Just to say goodnight
Like a sad satellite
I was orbiting
Constellations high
We’d walk around the tower in the rain
Now even the cult there has died
Read the leaves you said
This is what it could have been
Instead of just spinning
Around and around again
I’m not gonna lie
