“Delivered” is my debut EP — a heartfelt collection of songs that begins with my debut single, “Coming Soon.” Each track weaves into the next to tell a complete story, yet every song also stands on its own, offering its own emotional journey.

The inspiration for the Delivered EP was drawn from various aspects of my life, each poured into different songs. The laughter, chaos, creativity, and determination in the process of making it have been the best adventure. It’s a compilation of feelings and fun in which I hope everyone can find something relatable. I am so proud of its outcome and that you’re going to hear it, now that it's been delivered.
The last track, "Helmets & Almonds," based on my fears and dreams, holds an extra special place in my heart. Months before writing this song, I had a running, comical belief that the words helmet and almond sort of rhymed. My mother and sister profusely objected. I asked my friends to help, which resulted in several hilariously horrible lyrics. Eventually, I figured out a line that made sense for the song and finished writing it. I recorded it with my Dad in our basement studio where he co-produced it. He also recorded the waves out at Lake Superior in Sault Ste. Marie, my parents' hometown, which can be heard at the end of the track. This song felt like the perfect way to close the project as it brought themes of family, friends, and my roots full circle.
