Marcus Bartelt is active with his own projects as well as a sideman and studio musician. He played in Bob Brookmeyerʻs New Art Orchestra, Lionel Hampton All Star Band, Brussels Jazz Orchestra, in the Paul Kuhn Big Band as well as in all German radio big bands. In addition, he accompanied artist personalities such as Thomas Quasthoff or Udo Jürgens and he decisively shapes the sound of DePhazz.
