Francisco by Marcos Villalta
On August 31st 2020 my dad passed away of Glioblastoma. Definitely a legend of a person, he is really missed and the family is definitely very proud of him. At the end of 2020 I started writing and recording some music as a dedication. Slow in the making as I've been busy with other music, but went hard into it again last year and this year. It expanded into collaborations with some special guests who contributed with vocal performances, and another who gave stories to aid one of the tunes. Working with other people was one of the best parts, they really added something special to the recordings. Originally it was meant to be around six tunes but I cut it down to just three.

- Alejandra Marin Oyarce: Theatre performer/actor/friend/old housemate, she did the rhythmic vocals on Francisco". She put so much work into learning the rhythms and gave an amazing vocal performance.
- Astrid Mendez: Puppetere/ Theatre performer/ friend/old housemate, she did the rhythmic vocals on Francisco". Like Ale, she put so much work into learning the rhythms and also gave an amazing vocal performance. Follow here on social media. El Perigrino/The Pilgrim
- Charlie Woods: She did amazing vocal work on "We Miss You".
blending in with some keyboard choir and my own processed vocals.
Charlie is an amazing multi- instrumentalist, who currently plays in several bands including The 7 Ups, and Tek Tek Ensemble. Since 2021 though she started her own solo project, Charlie Needs Braces, where she plays trumpet, trombone and loops her own live percussion, as well as singing. Check it out.
