-Let's start from the title, after a brief chat with the authors, it emerges that Devolution is the contraction of de-evolution, a concept dear to the legendary Devo, but increasingly current. The failed evolution of the human race can be seen in everyday life, with the increase in poverty, the destruction of the environment, increasingly bloody wars, the loneliness of the metropolis, epochal mass migrations... and so on. The three tracks of the EP tell of visionary sound fusions between synths, funky bass with 70s disco echoes, EDM rhythms, acrobatic electric guitars and electrified dreamlike voices. The single, already in international airplay, TELL ME BABY makes the atmosphere sweet and dreamy, but the hypnosis suggests that the developments will be mysterious....

YOU KNOW IT, which opens the EP, seems like an electrofunk mockery of 70s slogans, in an era where people have less and less control over power... listening is believing. Grilli's bass groove is notable, as Pernice's guitars seem to be. About the last track IN NEW YACHT, perhaps we are at the dawn of a new musical genre...?-
