003: Horse by Nathan Forsyth

HORSE is the debut album from our youngest mind Nathan Forsyth. A collection of mostly acoustic experiments recorded at ages 14 and 15, Horse shows Nathan at the nascent cusp of his casually avant garde style, blending melodic progressions pitted in your bones against percussive scraping or harmonically fragmented layers-upon-layers of sound. These are the primitive musings of a blooming mind.

HORSE was initially released in various bits and forms throughout 2009 and 2010, before being recompiled and released under Marching Banana in early 2011 as one of our very first releases MB-03 (back before we knew you needed 3 call letters, or that we might someday pass 2-digits of release numbers).
