Ante Diem by Marcello De Francisci
‘Ante Diem’ was the first of the series that ultimately led to the creation of albums like ‘EPICA’ and ‘Sovereign’. Some of the tracks on this album were inspired by the eleventh century, its historic impact throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Crusades.
The album features long time collaborator singer Bahar Shah and soprano Vanessa Lam moreover compilation offers sweeping vocals, robust cinematic themes, countless live instrumental performances recorded beautifully, delivering a worthy playlist to any listener. We hope you enjoy this!

Marcello De Francisci is a film composer, recording artists and album producer who joined forces with world-renowned singer Lisa Gerrard (‘Dead Can Dance’ band member & Golden Globe winner for co- composing the score to ‘Gladiator’ alongside Hans Zimmer) and both co-wrote the music for numerous film projects, in addition, worked on two solo albums titled ‘Departum’, and its successor ‘Exaudia’.
