Krayons. Colorful. Raw.
After getting his hands on his first set of turntables and a mixer at age 12, he started producing just a year after. Electronic music has been his passion ever since, drawing inspiration from producers such as Sven Vath, Terence Fixmer, Planetary Assault Systems, but also more experimental sounds from the likes of Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode and 808 State.
Besides being in the studio for most hours of the week, Krayons organizes his own Techno night in Club Poema (Utrecht) called Function. Krayons takes you on a journey through scorching ambient textures, tribal beats, dark sweeps and spheres, layered with industrial rhythms and melodic synths.
'Colours' is the first single release of techno producer Krayons of Dutch decent. A futuristic tune carried by colourful and warped synths, progressing slowly to a utopian future. Rising star Olaf Stuut makes his return on within the Manual family after this recent well received 'Square EP' single. This time he shows his remixing capabilities. We've added the video edit of the original for those who might be interested in a shorter version as well.
