Diamond by Mani & the Nonos

One night, last summer, I asked Manisha to go into the studio, turn the machines on and sit there alone for a few minutes. We had been away for a while, and as we were grieving the passing of her dad, aunt and uncle, I wanted to start a brand new song from scratch. We all have lost someone. And at the end of the day, this is what this song is about. Oscillating between jazzy overtones, lofi vibes and heartfelt neosoul, "Diamond" is a haunting and comforting meander through the land of love and sorrow.
