MANAFEST VISION proudly presents the long-overdue resurrection of Kong’s legendary debut LP, Shackles Off.

This album isn’t just a collection of tracks — it’s a time capsule of underground brilliance, forged in the fiery creative spirit of East Coast Boom Bap and indie Hip-Hop.
Kong, also known as Kongcrete, tore through the fabric of the underground with ferocious bars, gravel-voiced delivery, and relentless storytelling — a style first unleashed on MF DOOM’s legendary Operation: DOOMSDAY and later crushing skulls on 2003’s cult-favorite Escape From Monsta Island.

Now, Shackles Off returns as both a celebration of Kong’s raw talent and a tribute to his legacy — made even more powerful knowing Kong transitioned to the ancestral plane on November 1, 2024. His passing marked the end of an era, but this album stands as proof that true concrete never cracks.

The production is cinematic and sinister, with MeccaGodZilla and others crafting a soundscape soaked in eerie keys, distorted loops, and bone-rattling drums.
The lyrical battalion backing Kong includes Ikon, 5th Element, and former Monsta Island Czar members like his real-life cousin Spiega, along with Megalon, MeccaGodZilla, K-SISE, Junclassic, Majesty, Stonez, Mez, and more — all delivering heavyweight verses that sharpen the album’s edges.

Spiega, who passed away in November 2022, brings his unmistakable presence to this project, making Shackles Off not only a masterclass in beastly lyricism, but also a heartfelt tribute to two fallen titans of underground Hip-Hop.

This album is more than music — it’s a lesson in BEAST 101 and a reminder that Titans never die — they just return to the mist.
