Malsono was a collaboration between Jon Johansson and Max Wainwright years 2014 - 2015. They used primitive gear such as reel to reel tape recorders, cd-players with looping function, cassette tape recorders, gramophones, radio receivers, and some filtering, but no effects at all.
The music is best categorized as something between plunderphonics and noise music.
They made a short reunite 2021.
