Given the troubled times we live in, it is sometimes necessary to find some light, something positive and inspiring to listen to brighten our days. Black Butterfly is that light…a story of self-reflection, transformation, growth & rebirth – an illumination from the “soul”, so to speak - with inspiring, uplifting and reflective lyrics. The track ‘Anyone Believin’ is timely, and asks us to look within, posing the question “Who are we, really? Is Anyone Believing in love and positivity? Or are we just living tribally, only concerned about winning, politics, and dominance?”.


Black Butterfly reunites Malloy with former Dakota Moon bandmate Joe ‘Mojo’ Dean, as the project’s co-writer and producer/engineer. The writing duo first collaborated some years ago on Malloy’s stellar debut CD, Take To The Sky, which is currently available to stream on soundcloud/malloymusic (note: there are plans to remaster and release the Take To The Sky on ITunes and Spotify very soon).
