In Sept. - Dec. 2003 I recorded the album "Worship" at 'Studio X' in Kalihi Valley, Oahu HI at the X-Factory which was one of my first solo recordings without being in a band. I just used a cheap $100. Yamaha starter acoustic guitar and two vocal mics, of which I remember where pretty well-used and you can tell on the recording that the mics didn't pick up the sound that good compared to something like a quality condenser. When I came home during Dec. 2003 I burned about 30 copies of the disc and just used an old photo from college and photo-copied a black and white CD insert for the clear jewel cases with just simple song titles, the word "Worship" on the cover and my email address for a contact. I had the cd's in a downstairs room on the floor during my annual Christmas party at the house and casually walked into the room during the party and noticed that about 75% of the discs were missing because my friends had lifted them! I wasn't mad but realized that music is in demand and people were hungry for new recordings and I could contribute, this was an opportunity. This eventually led to me making many more albums in the future and giving them away to people for free both physically and online. What I remember about these recordings is that I booked the studio for free about a week in advance by one of the regular engineers who volunteered there and I remember singing with a lisp probably because I had been listening to a lot of modest mouse at the time. I hadn't yet developed my own style and still struggled to sing and play the guitar at the same time which is why I consider many of these tracks to be rushed. This was my first solo recording, I remember being nervous, sweated a little and as would become my trademark in the studio did all the songs in one take, this only took about an hour of studio time! I hope you enjoy these songs, they were done at a time when I was young only 23 and felt God calling me to move to Hawaii and travel the world doing mission trips of which I globe trotted for about three years volunteering with a Christian humanitarian organization called Surfing the Nations. All honor, praise and glory to Jesus Christ for dying for the sins of the world so that people can be forgiven and enjoy Heaven forever.

A very fragile item such as a wild goose feather in a steel mill or a crippled wallaby at a wrestling match, completely run by bearded female circus midgets advertising the "world's smallest horse" inappropriately. Some call it "rare" others refer to it as strangely "other-worldly" often cited as having an cosmic appeal & hard to distinguish leaving individuals stunned, puzzled & questing origin.
