We made sandwiches in the car,
In the parking lot of Six Flags
My sweatshirt was soaking wet,
From riding that boat ride
My sandwich barely had anything in it,

Because I don't eat meat anymore
I made the decision by myself for the first time
I don't eat meat anymore,
And I feel great

I drank a cookie dough shake in New York,
For breakfast
Across the street,
The library,
I asked the guy for the key to the bathroom

I thought I was being lazy this summer,
(Too much, too much pressure for productivity)
But actually I'm not the same person I was in May,
So much has changed,
Inside of me

I saw the moon as a shadow pass over the sun
I saw two families gathered on a hilltop
I saw the sun and the strange light it cast down on us
