Devils by Macy
This is an album about healing. Healing wounds that were dealt years ago. Accepting them. Accepting them in the only way that might be possible, with an anger and fury unrelenting. Through anger, pain can be healed, and love can come forth.
This album also continues the Lazarus saga I laid forth in 2024s Fools and Pests. I expand the maze further and twist it into my own contorted healing therapy to birth something truly infernal. The narrative is evolving and with a mind of its own. It seeps into every line. Every riff. Every second and bleeds through into your own mind. The illusive maze digs deeper. Grab a shovel. Dig your own way out.
This is the heaviest album I've written. It is the angriest. It is the darkest.
