Here Lux Prima uses all the tools at his disposal to distort, sample, dissect the deep sounds of the gamelan through his army of machines, plays with repetitions and echoes, adds analogue envelopes and filters to field recordings and builds up a symphony of layers upon layers of visceral percussions and lush distortions.
Ubudology reminds the listener of the chaos of the tropical forest and the confusing nature of the modern world, a real mix of organic noises and electronic sounds, sometimes visceral and percussive, sometimes melodic and dubby.
