Antarctica by Rodolfo Pitti

A soundtrack dedicated to one of the most cryptic corner of the Earth: Antarctica. Its landmass is almost wholly covered by a vast ice sheet, and I tried to reflect that in the music: cold and frigid ambiences, mysterious and ethereal but, yet with lush and melodic tones. Some of the bright tones and dramatism, reflect the cold, hard Antarctic environment.

This soundtrack conjures coldness and desolation, but also a bright landscape not lacking in beauty. There are themes with a minimal melody approach showing the vastness of the landscape and convey the iciness that listeners would expect from such icey world full of fascinating wonders and mysteries.
