isn't it amazing? i could be anything. but only for a split second. and what would you say if i told you i can't come home? would you keep me in your closet or send me out to the road? would you ever consider the possibility that we could run away from everything? maybe our memories are just movie scenes maybe i'm having another stupid american dream where i go to school and don't learn anything, i'd tell the police but they'd just laugh because they are on their side and i tried to hide. but i can't bother to be that much. this is my apology for everything sinister thought i've ever had. this is my legacy i'll leave behind a catalog of stupidity. how could you manage to breathe being on the phone with me? i won't come home, baby i'll be with you when i go to the desert and lay on a blanket and feel content and never worry again. but that's just a dream. an american dream. something makes me want to scream. like it always does. your tumultuous love nerves make me want to spit out every word that never came out the first time, it's just a message or an excuse, i kind of forgot which.
