Nightliners by Luka Schuurman
Nightliners is the next piece in a series of organ music I recorded and remixed, following up on 2022's The Sun from Behind Dreams. This time I used recordings I made at Orgelpark in Amsterdam, after rehearsals with George Demetriou for his performance there.
From my window I often see buses, some have covered roofs and some of their roofs are open. Why? It remains a mystery. I tried to find patterns in different sizes of buses, different brandings and models... no clues. This music reminded me of travelling by bus at night.
