Secteurs by Ludovic U. Tourigny

Cet album propose une exploration des territoires radiophoniques. J’ai employé divers "websdr" pour naviguer les ondes radios et y ai intercepté toute sorte de communications, de signals et de bruits étranges. Je me suis beaucoup attardé sur les fréquences inhabitées, afin d’écouter ce qu’elles avaient à raconter. De ce voyage, j’ai conservé quelques fragments que j’ai mixé, les manipulant au minimum. Les titres des différentes pistes ne sont que des coordonnées sur cette large carte électromagnétiques.

« Secteurs » est un album qui raconte une aventure personnelle entremêlée à d’autres histoires. Le projet est également une référence au « Conet Project » d’Akin Fernandez, que j’invite tout voyageur du son à explorer.

This album offers an exploration of radio territories. I used various "websdr" to navigate radio waves and intercepted all sorts of communications, signals, and strange noises. I lingered a lot on uninhabited frequencies, in order to listen to what they had to say. From this journey, I kept a few fragments that I mixed, manipulating them as little as possible. The titles of the different tracks are only coordinates on this large electromagnetic map.

"Secteurs" is an album that tells a personal adventure intertwined with other stories. The project is also a reference to Akin Fernandez's "Conet Project", which I invite any sound traveler to explore.
