A collection of songs originally intended as an exercise in "back to basics". A lofi experience where songs have been recorded mostly on a phone or tablet. Almost all tracks are first take recordings and most of the lyrics were written by improvisation. A new way for us to make music.

Lothian 121 are a Scottish band, based in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. They have recorded continuously since 1999’s “My Life As A Crocodile”, some of which is included here.
In September 2011, their track “Ingemar Johansson” was featured on the diym release “nine”.
