'Sometimes Do' is the second page from Lucy Roleff’s upcoming record Left Open in a Room, out on May 15, 2019. Suspended above a bed of dark, sparse instrumentation, Roleff tours through themes of fleeting, yet unfinished romance. Roleff’s contemplative, rising harp gives way to intimate recollections and memories; her vocals imbued with a precise, classical enunciation. The peaks and valleys of Roleff’s voice are on display here, her rare contralto register showing all shades of its deep colour.
