Something Written by Los Hombres

Ten years ago, what started as a joke between best friends turned into something unexpectedly meaningful. We recorded seven songs during the uncertain days before heading off to different colleges and released them under the album Fuck It! We Got This! — capturing raw emotions of loneliness, abandonment, depression, and the toxic people we were beginning to recognize and leave behind. That original project, born in a moment of transition, carried more emotional weight than we realized at the time.

A decade later, we’ve come back to it — not just to re-record or remaster, but to reimagine it completely. With ten more years of life, loss, growth, and perspective behind us, we’ve rewritten these songs from the ground up. The pain is still there, but it’s clearer now. The core emotions remain, but they’ve evolved, matured, and deepened. These aren’t just songs from our youth revisited; they’re a dialogue between who we were and who we’ve become.

Los Hombres is a band formed by three lifelong friends who started making music as teens. What started in their hometown bedrooms and basements evolved into an outlet for processing the many hardships that life present.
