Loretta Miller and Ruby Jones reunite musically for the first time since the disbandment of their former group ‘Clairy Browne and The Banging Rackettes’ to release new collaborative single ‘Eighteen’.

Now two revered solo artists in their own right Loretta and Ruby address the highs and lows of growing up in a music industry which becomes increasingly hostile to women as they age whilst reflecting on their wild rock n roll past together on the road as backup singers - ultimately ‘Eighteen’ is a rollicking and anthemic celebration of female friendship.

Ruby Jones and Loretta Miller have an almost supernatural ability to wrap their voices around one another whilst also allowing their individual timbres to shine through. The energetic backing vocals on ‘Eighteen’ will be a real treat to any Clairy Browne and The Bangin’ Rackettes fan who have sorely missed the unique blend of these two vocalist power houses. As undoubtedly, will the wild and restrained saxophone solo of Jazz Party frontman Darcy McNulty which brings the song to its rip roaring peak. Guitarist, Jules Pascoe (Husky, Jazz Party, Jaala) adds a rich rich layer of upbeat rock n roll grooves underpinned by the driving rhythm section of bassist, Joel Loukes (Riley Catherall) and drummer Selwyn Cozens (Buttered Loaf) .
