Electric Fan by Looking For Sounds

A selection of sounds recorded using contact microphones on an electric fan, placed in different locations giving more of the motor sounds. However, the dull sound of the turning fan blades can still be heard.

This album was created using several different types of contact microphone and sometimes a shotgun microphone aimed directly at the blades. The sounds were mixed together to give the sounds you hear.

This album was recorded using a Zoom H6, LOM Geofon, 2 JrF Contact Mics, and an Audio Technica AT875r shotgun microphone.
