Happy Tears from Handmade by Lonesome Doves
A few days before our 2nd wedding annversary my husband brought home a Ukelele as a part of the "wooden" anniversary. I instantly fell in love with this new instrument. I began to play it without knowing the chords and this is the melody that resulted. We took a family walk later that evening and as we walked I played the chords and the lyrics fell out instantly.
We are firm believers that sorrow and joy are from the same source. The deeper the sorrow, the deeper your joy can be. Happy tears is about the happiness you feel that brings upon those tears from that deep well within us. It's an expression of that beauty within of feeling overpowering love.
