The Ride by Little By Little

I'm growing a garden
A plot that's in my mind
Starting with a small patch of vines
Growing up to something that can hold up my life
But it's taking so much time
People driving the streets with their places to be
Is the rush just slowing us down?
Some people wander, but most are on a mission
To get somewhere on time or find something they're missing
I may not know where I'm going
So I'll enjoy the ride and take my time

Spent my life on shore, now I'm drifting asea
Which way will the current take me?
Blindly into the unknown
Hoping what will be is a future I wanna see
People racing on by never have enough time
