Nos by Lithe

Lithe follows on from his self-released Agrippa/Soft Light EP with a storming Flood debut.

In his own words:

"These tracks came out of necessity, conceived in the first few weeks of lockdown through daily writing exercises. I had broken my lease and was about to move internationally when the first travel bans were put in place and got stuck halfway out the country and interstate. Focussing on the routine held everything together".

Both original tracks have a real sense of urgency to them. Nos leads the EP with a hypnotic blend of mechanic vocal chops woven between sporadic hard drums while One For Russ follows with a cavernous, driving kick drum layered with pitched hats, carnival drums hits and brooding FX.

Each track then got the remix treatment with a break flip of Nos from Fault Tolerance and a 138BPM drum-tech screamer from Doubt.
