STAND UP by Lino Casu
STAND UP was born from a folder of old files ... fragments from around the turn of the millennium, when I was already thinking about industrial turbo-capitalism and where it would lead. Back then I never felt fully satisfied with these drafts, and I didn’t want to be an agent provocateur.
But looking at the madness on our screens today, something changed: staying silent doesn’t feel neutral anymore. So I brought these texts back, cleaned them up, and let them speak. Not to shock for attention ... but to say, at least inwardly and honestly: NO.
Lino Casu was born 24.12.1978. At the age of 6 he took classic Guitar lessons but what took a big part of his Soul was his first Computer (386 IBM) at the age of 10. He experimented with Mod-Plug-Tracker on Amiga in the early age of 14. Stumbled over Cubase on an Atari not very much later and till today he loves to create out of Noise Something that at last might could be understood as Music.
