Catapult in my gut to the coyote moon
I'm tired and sick to my stomach with the rodent's croon
Till a half hour's gone and the night seems dead
My cue to take the oars, row to my home and bed

Wallowing pain soaked in frozen rain
Touch a hand on my lips and purple pulp was drained
Bloodier by the minute as the morning sets,
With the guilt of a god to carry on my head
