Portobello Hornpipe by Lewis Wood

This is the recording used for Toby Bennett's Lakeland Clog Dance workshops. It is four versions of the same tune, recorded at different speeds for dancing.
The tune is a traditional Lakeland Hornpipe called The Portobello Hornpipe.

Lewis Wood is a folk violinist, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Worcester, currently based in Hampshire. He is starting to gain a reputation as a musician on the English folk scene, particularly with the trio Granny’s Attic. He is most noted for his tune playing in various Western folk traditions, but he is also an inventive accompanier of traditional song.
